Helping a Leader Shift His Internal Reputation
Lisa has worked with hundreds of executives who have outstanding technical skills but less developed leadership skills. They benefited from the insights and practical experiences that come from working with a seasoned executive advisor. The following is one example.

A partner in a large accounting firm was floundering because of the internal perception from his firm’s leadership. His technical prowess with clients was undisputed. His job was in jeopardy, though, based on the senior partners’ impression of his leadership acumen.

The client went through our comprehensive assessment process to establish a base line of understanding. Lisa zeroed in on where his behavioral style was working against him. She created practical solutions that could be applied immediately on the job. In particular she helped him change the way he presented himself and participated in partner meetings.

The client demonstrated substantially better communication with the partner leadership team. The internal perception changed to the extent that his direct manager became his biggest champion. The client’s internal reputation shifted so dramatically that he became the gold standard within his department.

You can be a leader without having a title that people usually associate with leadership. You are a leader by your actions, not your position.
